Canine flu protocols

Cases of canine influenza have been reported in multiple states, including eastern North Carolina.  We are in contact with multiple local vets to monitor the situation here in WNC and ask that you be vigilant as well.  If your dog is showing any unusual health symptoms such as discharge from the eyes or nose, coughing, sneezing, fever, or lethargy, please do not bring him or her to daycare.  If your dog has been exposed to any dogs showing these symptoms we ask that you keep him or her out of daycare for 10 days.  We are not at this point asking you to completely isolate your dog from other dog-related activities if you are using us for daycare or boarding, but we will not be accepting reservations from non-locals until further notice.  We will modify our protocols as we see the need to and welcome any questions you may have.
